Maple Syrup in Travel Retail

Who would have thought that just a few short months ago that we would face a shortage of maple syrup! But here we are and we’ll get by. I think we have all been taken by the strength of our category. It just keeps on selling through, even at these higher prices.
At Jakeman’s, the trend is to smaller containers. We are thankful that we saw the opportunity early with the 20 ml Bear. It made the 30 ml Jug a slam dunk.
It’s been interesting to watch its evolution in the market place. Progressing from a single serve portion to 5 and then 10 pack souvenir item. It is now taxing our production.
It will remain yours and our key to sustainability in this difficult year.
